Madison Jade’s naming day went off without a hitch & we owe a lot of that success to you!!
Your kind & spiritual nature put Ray & I at  ease the moment we met with you & that ease continued the whole way through the process..
We would highly recommend your services to anyone who was after a celebrant with such professionalism.
We know Madison will enjoy watching her naming day when she grows….

Why have a Naming Celebration?

With the birth of a new baby, the parents and families may wish to have a special celebration to mark the event and this is a new and unique way of welcoming the child into the family and community. It gives the opportunity to announce the names of the child and enable other adults to promise a supportive role to the child through to adult life.

The specially written, dignified ceremony can be tailored to suit the individual needs of the family.

There is a wide choice of poems and readings available to enhance the ceremony, and a souvenir record of the ceremony will be signed and presented during the event.  The ceremony is also an ideal way of creating family bonding for adoptive or stepchildren, and of welcoming them into their new extended family.

Any parent can arrange a Naming Ceremony, whether they are married or not.

This is a non-religious ceremony, so it does not matter what spiritual or religious beliefs you hold, nor what ethnic or cultural background you are from.  Being spiritual in nature, I am happy to combine spiritual elements into your ceremony should you wish, such as Angel Blessings, special readings, or blessings with Holy Water which I can prepare for you as part of my service.

Neither the Naming Ceremony, nor any documents issued have any legal status.

The birth must be registered and the full birth certificate must be produced when booking the ceremony.
